As The Jim Moran Foundation marks 25 years of serving the community, we are happy to share a second series of proactively awarded grants below as a part of our special anniversary giving. Stay tuned for more funding announcements in the coming months. 

  • The Ann Storck Center - $480,000 over three years: Weekend Respite Care to support families and caregivers of children and youth with intellectual and developmental differences in Broward County.
  • Feeding Northeast Florida - $960,000 over two years: Nourish Forward to build capacity for neighborhood pantries, support a new community kitchen and provide medically tailored nutritious food for individuals and families in Duval County.
  • Jacksonville Speech and Hearing Center - $60,000: Capacity building and therapeutic interventions providing matching funds to offer language development and speech therapy for children and adults in Duval County.
  • Lutheran Services Florida - $630,000: Renovation support for the Lippman Youth Shelter in Broward County.
  • The Nemours Foundation - $150,000: Assisted Dog and Pony Therapy (ADAPT) endowment to better support the overall well-being of patients at Nemours Children's Health in Duval County.
  • Offerdahl's Hand-Off Foundation - $445,000 over three years: Hand-Off Home Delivered Meals to provide freshly prepared and nutritious meals with friendly visits for homebound seniors in Broward County.
  • The Pet Project - $40,000: Mobile Wellness Unit to help older adults and those who are homebound remain happy, healthy and together with their pets through preventive veterinary care.
  • Villages of Hope - $1 million over two years: Kids Sanctuary Campus Expansion and Transitional Independent Living Program in Palm Beach County to provide housing and comprehensive services for young adults, particularly those with lived experience in foster care.
  • WestCare The Village South - $1.2 million: Renovation support for the Crisis Stabilization Unit at The Village South in Broward County.

In order to finalize our anniversary and year-end grantmaking, all new Letters of Inquiry must be submitted via our website no later than October 15, 2025. If your organization is interested in applying, please read our Grant Making Guidelines for guidance about our current funding focuses and application process.
