Through a new partnership between the Holocaust Documentation & Education Center (HDEC) in Broward County and the University of Southern California (USC) Shoah Foundation, stories of Holocaust Survivors (including those pictured above in 2018) will live on to encourage compassion, understanding and respect for one another. HDEC's Preserving the Legacy initiative will digitize, archive and further share their personal accounts. Students and visitors to HDEC will also be able to access USC Shoah Foundation’s full collection for an even more powerful and unique educational experience.

"I hope that someday we will be free of antisemitism, hatred, persecution and racism and that the future generations will never allow the horrors of the Holocaust to happen again."
