To honor individuals who selflessly give back to their community through devoted service and personal commitment, Jim and Jan Moran established The Jim Moran Foundation Award in 2003. The annual award provides honorees with an unrestricted grant to the charity of their choice as well as a bronze sculpture created by South Florida artist George Gadson. Jim and Jan Moran presented the inaugural award to Fran Payne, executive director of Jack & Jill Children’s Center, in recognition of her lifetime of community service and dedication to children and families.
