An entrepreneur at heart, Jim Moran began selling soda pop at sandlot baseball diamonds at the age of seven in Chicago to help provide for his family. The hard earned purchase of a Sinclair gas station for $360 in 1939 led to a remarkable career in the automotive industry that spanned more than six decades.
Having grown up during the Great Depression, Jim never forgot where he came from, was a man of his word, and lived by the Golden Rule. He measured his success in business by taking care of those who worked with him, creating opportunities to give back and leaving a lasting legacy of compassionate philanthropy.
